Jack Frost befriends Dusty Jamison, a beautiful, hard-drinking, close to down-and-out Las Vegas showgirl with a long list of serious problems. Frost offers to help, but the proud young woman with the broken soul and the hard edges doesn’t want his help. That makes him even more determined to step into her messy life to see what he can do to tip the odds in her favor. When J.T. Ripper, Frost's antisocial Doberman, takes a liking to Dusty . . . well, that’s good enough for Jack Frost.
